Dr. Shahnaaz Anjum Riaz assumes the charge of the office of the Director General (Education) FDE with effect from 31-07-2012. Ministry of Capital Administration & Development vide Notification No. F.14-3/2012-Admn-I dated July 31, 2012 conveyed the approval of the honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan for her posting as Director General FDE with immediate effect. All officers and staff of FDE welcome her and wish her all the success in her future endeavors. They assure her full cooperation in execution of official assignments.

June	* Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has very kindly approved 24 Student Solar Systems for PEEF Scholarship holders in ICT. They shall be distributed through FDE (Ref F.4-4/2011/Coord/FDE dated June 11, 2013) (ID-120613) * Monthly News Letter for Month of May issued on May 31, 2013. (Check Current Issue) * FDE's Educational Institutions shall remain closed on account of Summer Holidays from June 01 to August 12, 2013.
May	* Director General (Education) Dr. Shahnaaz Anjum Riaz is conducting inspection visits to various HSSC examination centers to ensure smooth execution of FBISE examinations 2013. * All requests for procurement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment for FDE / Educational Institutions under FDE shall contain the term "The equipment should be IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) compatible. Compliance shall be ensured whereever applicable. Internet Protocol is logical addressing scheme for unique identification of ICT equipment on the network. IPv6 shall gradually replace the IPv4 which has the limiting address space. For further information you may contact the I.T Coordinator, FDE on extension 333. Show Cause Notice was served to the said person on all provided addresses, but no response has been received. Archive	* Annual Educational Census 2012-13 was conducted for Educational Institutions under FDE using purpose built Data Collection Instrument. These Facts/ Findings from the Statistical Data and analysis of the Critical Indicators will help us in information based decision making and corrective measures for improvement of the academic services through Public Sector Educational Institutions.
